I meant a single [Annotate] button for the page of the artifact, although that page cannot be related to a single checkin, as the artifact can be of many checkins. Maybe, an [Annotate] can be for every "piece" artifact, but those "pieces" be ordered by time. Is it easy to achieve? Moreover, I don't like those "pieces" shown without any newline between them; I consider them very hard to read.
