I favour the possibility to translate fossil.

If any responsible of Fossil makes a claim such as "Every programmer has to know English, and that's why we don't plan to do anything to allow translations", please put that on the front page of fossil so people can choose another VCS and blame fossil publicly, instead of setting it in hiding.

I really hope the main developers don't have this point of view on "English über alles".

On the other hand, I understand it requires some effort to allow a program to interact in the user language of choice.
