For a codebase which is developed in public, but is not publicly available, it is helpful to use the built-in Fossil web server, removing Checkout and History permissions, but allowing wiki and ticket appends.
However, without the "History" permission, ticket IDs aren't hyperlinked, requiring users to enter the URL manually (at which point they can also append information). I believe if "Read Ticket" is an active permission, that should overrule the lack of a "History" permission and hyperlinks should be available for them. |
