Using fossil's own repo (latest artifact [c16017374e]) It appears that the "--latest" pull latest in a tagged branch, not latest from repo. From my own memory, this has not always been the case. Is this correct/expected behaviour? This means that your test behaved as expected. But it is not what the help text says. I think that it is the help text that should change, since I don't think it is usually a good idea to change branches without asking explicitly.
