For my first use of Fossil in a shared project I hit a few places. One of these places is user editing. It is impossible (as far as I can tell) to edit things like contact information without administrator interference. Changing passwords is possible, but the way to get that is... mildly inobvious. (Clicking on "logout" doesn't leap out as the way to change a password for me at any rate. Makes about as much sense as clicking on "Start" to stop a machine.)
I propose a "user editing page" that any user with sufficient privileges can access to edit any information they're allowed to modify including contact information and password (plus anything else that users eventually get added to their accounts later on). |
